Purpose: The Colquitt County Board of Commissioners, Information Systems Department provides a wide range of computing/ office equipment resources in order to support the daily mission of its administration and staff of the local Government.
The Information Systems Department (ISD) provides and maintains the department backbone network, administrative servers, e-mail and web services, general and departmental computing facilities and/or laboratories, and institutionally-owned desktop and laptop computer systems, printers, fax machines, and xerographic copiers/ blue print machines.
ISD provides additional services, including operation of a Help Desk, ink and toner cartridge refurbishing, installation and updates of hardware and software/programming applications throughout the various offices, and wireless mobile communication devices within its authority.
The facilities of ISD have become an essential resource for the Colquitt County Board of Commissioners, and various associate offices.
As such, all members of this local government are encouraged to use these resources, provided they respect the rights of others, abide by the rules and regulations of the Board of Commissioners, and assume shared responsibility for safeguarding the Board of Commissioners' computing environment.
