Purpose: To Promote the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and general welfare of Colquitt County, Georgia, its citizens, inhabitants, and occupants in accordance with a comprehensive plan to lessen congestion in the streets/roads; to secure safety from fire, to prevent the overcrowding of land; to avoid undue population, water, sewage, schools, parks, and other public requirements. To also promote desirable living conditions and sustain suitability of neighborhoods, and to encourage the most appropriate use of land and other buildings and structures throughout Colquitt County, Georgia.
Appropriate Fees: Requests for Rezoning - $375.00 Request for Variance - $250.00 Special Use Permit - $375.00 Request for amendment -$275.00
