Closed on all major holidays
Colquitt County currently has a transfer station and all collected solid waste is sent to a Valdosta landfill. Inert materials such as tree limbs, stumps, and yard debris are collected at the landfill also.- Recyclable materials such as metals and white goods (appliances) are collected at the landfill at no charge.
- We do not accept cardboard at our recycling facility.
- We do not offer free cardboard pickup at business locations.
Current charges are:
Transfer Station - $60.00 per ton
Inert Materials - $12.00 per ton
Scaled pricing for the landfill:
0 – 100 lbs: $5.00
101-250 lbs: $10.00
251-500 lbs: $15.00
501-1000 lbs: $30.00
1001-1500 lbs: $40.00
1501-1999: $45.00
2,000 lbs and over: $60.00 per ton
